About

Creativity has always been a part of who I am.

I grew up with a deep love for art, horses, and animals. While I was technically a city kid, I spent every spare moment at the barn — that’s where I felt most at home. Creating, building, and bringing ideas to life came naturally, whether it was through art or working with animals.

Life took a turn (as it often does) when I married my husband — a man who will never leave the farm — and we started raising our family. Wanting to be home with my kids, I took a leap and purchased a web design business, combining my creative side with practical skills. During that time, I also did design work within the equine industry, working with people and businesses that felt familiar and authentic to me.

As life got busier, the business was put on the back burner — but it never left my heart.

Today, with older kids and a little more breathing room, I’m excited to be building Iron Brand Creative into something meaningful again.

My husband and I live on his family farm, where agriculture isn’t just a lifestyle — it’s a legacy. For over 20 years, I bred, raised, trained, and showed some of the top Miniature Horses in Canada alongside my mother-in-law, with my two kids right there beside me. Over the years, we’ve also raised commercial cattle and Dorset sheep, learning firsthand what it takes to build and sustain a farm operation.

While I’ve since sold almost all the horses, I’ve found a new passion in purebred Shorthorn cattle. We’ve gone all in — raising, promoting, and showing them — with my daughter and I actively competing together. We’re deeply involved in the breed, and I currently serve on the Alberta Shorthorn Association Board of Directors.

Iron Brand Creative was built from this life — one rooted in agriculture, hard work, creativity, and community.

I understand farm families, ag businesses, and rural brands because I live it. My goal is to help businesses tell their story clearly, honestly, and with pride — whether that’s through web design, branding, or creative support that actually fits who you are.

If you’re looking for someone who gets both the creative side and the agricultural way of life — you’re in the right place.
